HI, WE ARE MAKING THIS AS A FULL GAME THAT WILL BE RELEASED ON THE STEAM. THIS IS THE OLD VERSION OF THIS GAME. YOU CAN WISHLIST 'SHAPEGUARD' ^_^

This game is made for Bogazici Game Jam 22 by Yusuf "EakyRtk" Gürsoy. EakyRtk#2868

Theme was "Şifre" = "Password/Code" in the game jam.

There is a bug known in second level. Restart to (R button) fix it!

A B O U T      T H E      G A M E

In this game you create passwords, manipulate your passwords with shapes and carry them around. These shapes will be used to activate stuff and solve puzzles!

I tried to demonstrate every game mechanic but I had no time to build levels around them. I hope you find this short game fun! ^_^

The event is open to public voting and anyone can rate the game. 

C O N T R O L S

WASD and Arrow Keys are for movement. You can play the game without keyboards. I have added buttons can be usable both with mouse and mobile devices.

HOLD SPACE - Zoom Out

R - Restart

H - Toggle the virtual control buttons

G A M E      M E C H A N I C S

You can obtain and use three kind of shapes.

You can hold up to 4 shapes and you can have different combinations!

      

There are boxes that can add, remove and clear shapes.

• They can turn.
• Lockable: If lockable, turns once.

Remover Box only works if the last shape on the player is the same!

OBSERVERS:

Observers activate if it matches with the Player's inventory. 

• Works when you enter its area.
• Observers can turn.
• Lockable: Lockable observers can turn once.
• Reversable: It returns to its former position on every activation.

WIRELESS OBSERVERS:

Activates automaticly if shapes match.

• Lockable: It can activate the connected thing once.

DOORS:

Doors can open to all 4 directions. 

• Lockable: Can be opened once.
• Reversable: If the door is reversable, it closes on the second activation.
• Doors can move to any distance.

NEXT LEVEL BOX:

Loads the next level on activation.

K N OW N     B U G S  and other stuff :

At the second level, X block may not turn. Restart the level to fix it. 

Also my friend said the game is not so performant in Chrome. Chrome worked fine for me. Mozilla and Opera works well as I know. 

Sound effects made with sfxr.  But sounds are a bit low.
